Philosophy |
|
|
It appears to
me that God reveals Himself to people
everywhere, but in terms we can best
understand within our own culture and
period in history. |
|
|
|
Billions of
souls have been drawn onto this earth
plane - but for different reasons, and to
have different sorts of experiences.
Different philosophies, practices and
religions have been designed to suit each
type of intended soul journey. |
|
|
|
When we get
back home again, we will remember that we
are all the same. |

Paths are Many. |

| My Background and
Qualifications for Performing Your Wedding: |
| |
| As a young man, I was
professionally trained as a Shakespearean actor.
In middle age, I was an officer and ritualist in two Masonic
lodges - New York and Arizona.
I feel confident that I can deliver the most beautifully spoken
ceremony you could ever imagine. My stage presence is calm and
reassuring, and not easily shaken by unexpected mishaps. |

Wedding
Testimonial |
|
| Thank you
again for officiating at the wedding of John and Lauren.
They wanted a simple ceremony, but one that would have
meaning for them. You offered the perfect suggestion:
reading the story of how they met. Our guests and relatives
remarked on how different and special it was - and also that
it was just long enough! Thank you again for your
professionalism and for being so easy to work with. Bride,
groom, and all four parents were very pleased. ~ Sheryl

Notes from the
Greenroom: Taking Cues from the Promptbook of Life
(PublishAmerica, 2004) comprises one hundred and
twenty-seven non-fiction essays and poems on Spirituality
and Ethics, World Religions, Yoga Philosophy, Faith and
Reason, and the sacred origins of Theatre and Teaching. This
book paints a valuable historical portrait of the
Flower-Child/Viet Nam generation’s issues at the end of the
twentieth century.
Ted’s background includes
Shakespearean acting, Rosicrucian metaphysics, the study of
World Religions and a healthy Gnostic skepticism of
established doctrines. He is also a teacher of Yoga and
Meditation. This book was the prelude to Ted’s ordination as
a minister of the non-denominational Universal Life Church.
He is a baby boomer raised in New York City, where he
attended a private school for boys and received an excellent
education, culminating in his graduation from Northwestern
University in 1969. He has been writing since the age of 12.

| A Modest Guide to Meditation
is
intentionally short and simple - the clearest, most
user-friendly guide to meditation that you will ever
read. It's not only a "how to" book, but
also a "why" book. It explains the basic
approaches of all the different traditions, but emphasizes
individuality. You must explore until you
find the approach that works best for you.
In order to play a
concerto, a musician must first learn his scales.
This book instructs you in practicing the
"scales" of meditation. This guide also
discusses the dangers of meditation for people
suffering from mental illness - a long overdue discussion,
which is missing from most other books on the
subject.
